Jaylens Challenge - The Next Big Step

Welcome Friends, Family, and Supporters! We've got some great news to share and are very excited for you to join us in our next step on this beautiful journey!

After hearing from thousands of parents, teachers, children, and people from all over the world, Team Jaylens Challenge has done much research. When initially starting this campaign, our goal was to reduce Bullying for disabled children, a sort of grassroots effort; however, because of all of you, we've realized the magnitude of this great problem in the lives of all children and society.

We have an amazing opportunity to take Jaylen's Challenge to the next level. We have a vision for Jaylens Challenge to become a recognizable worldwide organization such as Livestrong or Autism Speaks.

The Need Is So Great...

WE NEED YOUR HELP

Jaylens Challenge has the fortunate chance to work with a world renowned law firm and take Jaylen's Challenge to a Global level! We are working on obtaining our 501(c)3 (non profit) status and are in need of funds to accomplish this. The funds will be used towards fees for legal filings, trademarks, copyrights, etc. We've initiated these protocols on our own, but have reached a crossroad that requires us to use professional services to accomplish this correctly. With your help, we can firmly cement ourselves as a non profit organization and do so much to educate. This is a key moment in the history of Jaylens Challenge and we need your support more than ever.

To date, all of the funds received from the sale of wristbands have been put back into Jaylens Challenge. There has always been a need to purchase more wristbands, books, posters, educational materials and presentation aids. Every single media appearance and documentary done by Jaylen - with the support of Dash and other participants - have been done voluntarily in the name of education without receiving any monies from these entities.

It is because of YOU that we have been able to educate THOUSANDS of children thus far. It is imperative to the children that we keep this moving forward. At some point, BULLYING has affected us all, either as the Bully who regrets doing it or as the person who was bullied. As a team we can help Jaylen achieve the dream of BULLYING NO WAY!

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP?

We are asking that you please help us in our vision to become a non profit entity with a Global presence! There are many Companies and Corporations willing to offer us grant funding to help educate many, many more; however, we need to be a Nationwide non-profit in order to accept these grants. This task is much more than Jaylen and our small team can achieve  - so we are turning to you - our friends and supporters. We are asking you to please support us for the expenses we will incur to take Jaylens Challenge to the next level and moving forward. This will help to offset the cost of the legalities. We only have this opportunity because of you! It is our goal to have our non-profit status within 90 days by
utilizing the law firm and are hopeful to be able to offer you a charitable receipt for a tax deduction at years end.

YOUR HELP WILL NOT COME WITHOUT A REWARD!

To show our appreciation we are giving away kindly donated prizes to the supporters who make the largest contributions!

Dash MihokOur Grand Prize will be dinner for two at Wolf Gang Pucks prestigious Spago Restaurant in trendy Beverly Hills, California. Our 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive autographed head shots, movie posters, or memorabilia from several different celebrities.

Promotional contest has begun and will end on September 15, 2010.  Jaylen will announce the Grand Prize winner here on the website on September 16, 2010. Your contributing amount needn't be identified. So let's all come together and make a difference!

Josh HopkinsWe have a huge goal! You will continue to receive your glow in the dark custom wristbands with your contributions. Make a decision to be a part of something great, help change a child's life!

We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us to achieve a dream that was only possible in the mind of an 8 year old boy one year ago! You can see how much he's accomplished in just one year by clicking on the "Jaylen in the Media" tab on the left column. We will also make an announcement letting you know when his Discovery/TLC documentary airs this September.

Very Truly Yours,
Jaylen and Team Jaylens Challenge

*You know we had to have a fine print area. We must tell you that transportation to and from the Spago Beverly Hills is your responsibility. We also must advise you that the date and time of the dinner reservations will be dependent upon when and where you are traveling from, as well as the filming schedule of both actors.

Job, well done
written by Marques Seme, August 14, 2010
HiJaylen and hello to your crew. We all have a job to do. Some of us get paid money for doing it, while some of us get the satisfaction of knowing that a job well done produces positive effects on the lives of others. If you can get both of them in, you've done even bettersmilies/smiley.gifI think you've done a swell job addressing bullying, especially for persons like you and I who live with TS every day. My name is Marques from Tourettes Uncovered. If you ever visit New York, holla at a fellow.
